Support Us

Ways to support

There are several ways you can support us, or you can get in touch with us here to discuss how you can get involved.

Make a donation

We welcome donations from individuals, trusts, corporate organisations and other grant giving bodies to support the work of our schools and create even better outcomes for our students.

Our schools want to do even more to ensure that through an exceptional Central Foundation education, every student learns, develops, and grows so they can reach their full potential.

Our current fundraising our main 2025 fundraising appeal is to raise £150,000 to transform the Girls’ School’s sixth form outdoor and rooftop spaces. To find out more and donate click here.

If you are considering making a larger donation or represent a funder and can see our values and purpose align, we’d love to talk to you. Get in touch with us here.

Partner with us

We are always keen to meet with people who share our passion for creating exceptional education experiences and deepening the extra-curricular activities accessible to young people from all backgrounds. Some of the exciting areas where we are seeking new partners include our new programme of building work for the Girls’ School; providing students at both schools with more access to work experience and career development opportunities; and extending the extra-curricular offer at each school or expanding the student grants and bursaries to enable them to continue their education or assist their future employability.

Volunteer with us

Do you or your company have the skills, knowledge and lived and learned experience to make a difference? We would love to hear from you to you about our exciting range of skills-based volunteering opportunities.

We are currently looking for:

·       speakers to visit the schools to share their career and life experiences

·       volunteers to help Year 10 and 12 students shaping their CVs

·       companies able to offer placements for the students’ work experience week.

Can you remember the people who inspired you to enter your chosen profession or choose a course to study post 16 or 18? This is your chance to pay that passion forward! We’d love to hear from you. Get in touch with us here

Board roles

We regularly refresh our boards of trustees and appoint school governors to each of the school governing bodies. This enables us to maintain energetic, engaged and diverse boards which create significant positive impact on the lives of the young people in our schools.  We regularly review our boards to make sure we have the right composition of skills, knowledge, backgrounds and experience on the boards and recruit openly for new board members to fill gaps.

All our trustees and school governors are volunteers. You don’t need previous experience of trusteeship or governorship to apply. We will advertise on this page when we have vacancies but if you have passion and time to offer, please do get in touch.

The Foundation’s Funding

The Foundation is fortunate to have a number of permanent endowments from which interest provides our core support each year. In addition, we receive grant funding to support key work at the Schools. From time-to-time legacies or individual donations for the direct benefit of our schools are gifted to the Foundation. Find out more about our current funding here.

Our new strategy means we are ambitious for our future and are committed to supporting the schools to continue to improve their already high standards and educational offer. To safeguard the Foundation’s longevity, we make careful choices about how we spend our money and recognise this means we cannot fund projects as freely as we would like without additional support.

You can read more about some of individual projects we’ve funded and how the Foundation support the two schools on our news and stories page.
