Central Foundation Schools of London

Two schools, one vision

Since 1863 the Central Foundation Schools of London charity has supported some of the earliest established schools in London. The original vision to provide an extended education for students in the community, remains at the heart of the Foundation’s purpose.

Today, we’re proud to support two schools: Central Foundation Boys’ School in Islington and Central Foundation Girls’ School in Tower Hamlets.

Our vision is that through an exceptional Central Foundation education, every student at both our voluntary-aided schools learns, develops and grows so they can reach their full potential.

  • CFSL is ambitious for our future. We are keen to partner with more funders who share our values and objectives and who want to work together with us to deliver education and opportunity for children from diverse backgrounds.
